What inner-conversations are you having about this historical fiction that we are reading? Do you think that Jonathon made a good choice to go and fight? Why do you think he did that? Do you think he accomplished what he set out to do?
I think that Jonathon did not accomplish what he tried to do. Because he wanted to fight but insted he got captured right away. So now I think that he is regreting that he came with the other men.

I have been teaching since 1994. I love being a teacher and getting to learn with all of my students. My favorite subjects to teach are writing and reading, but I like all the subjects. So far in my career I have taught third, fourth, fifth and sixth graders. Everyday is different and everyday I am able to smile. I am very thankful for my great job!
